Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your English-speaking guide and transfer to your hotel in downtown Hanoi. (Check-in at 14:00, early check-in subject to availability.)
In the afternoon, explore Ba Dinh Square, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays & Fridays), One Pillar Pagoda, and Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilts. Visit the Temple of Literature, Sword Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and The Huc Bridge. Wrap up your day exploring the bustling Old Quarter and Dong Xuan Market.
Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY -2

Full-Day Tour to Tam Coc & Hoa Lu (B)

After breakfast, head to Ninh Binh. Visit Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam, home to the Dinh and Le dynasties.
In the afternoon, take a 2-hour boat ride along the Ngo Dong River to Tam Coc – often dubbed “Halong Bay on land” – passing limestone caves, rice paddies, and temples.
Return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY -3

Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B, L, D)

Depart Hanoi for Halong Bay through the scenic Red River Delta. Board your traditional junk boat for an unforgettable cruise experience.

DAY -4

Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Start your day with Tai Chi on deck followed by breakfast and cruising through more of Halong Bay’s highlights.
Disembark and return to Hanoi by cruise shuttle. Transfer to Noi Bai Airport (no guide) for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, you will be picked up by a driver and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY -5

Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L)

Begin the day with a visit to Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office. Explore the War Remnants Museum.
In the afternoon, visit the historic Cu Chi Tunnels to discover how Vietnamese soldiers lived and fought during the war. Try cassava and tea like the guerrillas did. Optional: test your aim with real shooting guns.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight stay.

DAY -6

Full-Day Mekong Delta Tour (B, L)

Drive to My Tho and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong River, visiting the four famous islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.
At Unicorn Island, walk through orchards, enjoy local fruits, music, honey tea, and coconut candy. Take a rowboat through small canals and enjoy a traditional lunch.
Cycle around Tan Thach village or relax in a hammock to experience rural life.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight stay.
